TEEBA was reincorporated in 1964 in order to provide help with medical co-pays relating to illness or injury to Tampa Electric Employees. We have since expanded to also include TECO Energy employees. TEEBA relies on commissions from vending machines throughout TECO locations. The revenue from commissions is used to help pay claims and to those employees who joined TEEBA prior to July 1, 2013, it helps with death benefits. TEEBA is a not for profit organization. Our Directors donate their time and efforts towards helping TEEBA help you and your co-workers. They are not reimbursed for their time. We have an office to help with any questions you have regarding submitting a claim or questions relating to joining TEEBA (813) 380-2528, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
