Position Overview The purpose of this position is to perform lab tests to determine the physical characteristics of all materials and ensure they meet the customer’s expectations. This needs to be done in a timely fashion to minimize the scrap incurred due to lack of quality. Essential Job Functions · Maintain a safe and clean work environment · Maintain 5S Program · Set up, adjust and operate lab equipment and instruments. · Test finished goods for density, tensile properties, and other required metrics. · Test product samples for specificity conformance. · Must know how to use a cut knife to obtain test samples from rolls.
