Job Description Job Description Position Summary: The Flexographic Press Operator is responsible for keeping the presses up and running. Be a backup press operator, rewinder and shrink wrap. Perform other tasks as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but is not limited to: Perform make-ready functions Follow information from job tickets and prepare press accordingly Enter all activities into computer for job tracking and cost accounting Mount plates Pull dies, inks, and cylinders for all jobs on the press schedule over the next 24 hours. Mix ink and make corrections to meet customer specs. Perform press wash-up and clean-up procedures Perform press maintenance Have full knowledge of all phases of label production. o Press capabilities o Finishing capabilities Maintain a clean and organized production floor that is safe for all employees.
