West Michigan Scales was founded in the fall of 1975. The whole idea was to establish a company to proved exceptional service for customers in the Western Michigan region. ince that time, the company has grown into one of the largest industrial weighing equipment sales and service organizations in the area. Originally located at the Battle Creek Airport in the old fire station with a service 'fleet' consisting of a pickup truck and two compact cars, the company has expanded significantly. Currently located in Plainwell, Michigan, in a modern 8,000 square foot building the company now maintains a fleet including multiple heavy capacity test vehicles, several specially equipped service vehicles, and assorted light capacity service vehicles so we can get our trained service technicians and the proper equipment where needed all hours of the day and night. We now service customers all over Michigan and Northern Indiana and provide sales of equipment and supplies from most of the premier manufacturers in the weighing and measurement industry. With the support from our vendors and the confidence of our diverse and solid customer base we have developed the experience, the equipment, and the skills to handle any job with professionalism and efficiency. Our commitment to providing quality service and equipment that meets our customers' standards and exceeds their expectations wherever possible continues to be the foundation of our business.
