Position Overview Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Import & Export Manager to join their client's team in Union City, CA. This role is essential for overseeing shipping and working with freight forwarders and carriers to ensure compliance with customs and policies in other countries. The Import & Export Manager will also collaborate with purchasing on imports from global markets to support warehouse operations. Responsibilities Interpret US Customs, Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), and other Government Agency rules and regulations. Implement, update, and monitor these rules where applicable to business processes. Ensure legal compliance and provide import/export administration controls within applicable rules, including any licensing. Determine if licensing is required with various governmental authorizing agencies including BIS, Census Bureaus, State and Treasury HTS classifications. Manage reporting to BIS for license
