Overview: Prescott Animal Hospital & Equine Center has an opportunity for a Veterinary Assistant/Barn Technician to join our team! Location: 2611 Avenger Rd, Prescott, AZ 86301 Shift Details: This is a full-time position, working four 10-hour shifts per week Compensation: $17-$20/hour Desired Experience: Multiple years of experience in the equine field is required. One year in veterinary medicine preferred. Here at the Equine Center we are an ambulatory clinic treating patients for general practice as well as emergency visits. We see equine primarily as well as some small ruminants. Our barn technicians are considered our "in house" technicians. This individual must enjoy working with animals and have good people skills. In house technicians' priority is patient care, maintaining hospital cleanliness and maintenance, and assisting in veterinarian procedures.
