A World of Building ServicesJob Skills / RequirementsAre you a seasoned professional with a knack for leadership? Alliance Maintenance seeks a polished, proactive individual to fill the role of a full-time Non-Union Janitorial Supervisor. Experience in supervising within commercial buildings is a must, as you'll be taking charge of operations in a prestigious Manhattan commercial property.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff, freight operators, and forepersons within the building.
- Ensure timely completion of all scheduled tasks.
- Manage inventory and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
- Maintain open communication channels regarding staffing matters.
- Check call out log for absenteeism in assigned portfolio;
Review and assign work orders and complaints to building foreman at the appropriate location - Coordinate with Sales about issues and specific work for the night;
- Provide completion notes of work tickets and hours to Ops Admin within 24 hours of job completion;
- Provide completion notes for complaints
- Periodically inspect ongoing projects that the Route Crew handles to ascertain that the job is going as planned
- Perform Building Quality Inspections and correct deficiencies
- Approve/prepare/collect Building Vacation Schedule - provide to operations coordinator
- Handle disciplinary actions according to company guidelines.
- Trains Replacement coverage staff in non-supervised locations;
- Provide training as needed and prepare incident reports.
Requirements:- Local 32BJ supervisory experience is highly preferred;
- Experience managing over 1 million square feet;
- Experience managing cleaning staff;
- Commercial maintenance experience is a MUST, along with prior supervisory skills.
