Human Resource Dimensions has been retained to place an HRBP for a client in Atlanta, Georgia. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the Business Leaders and Associates across various departments. The primary focus will be to align HR initiatives with business objectives, foster a positive work culture, and support the attraction, development, and retention of top talent. In this role, this leader will collaborate closely with management, department heads, and HR colleagues to implement effective HR solutions and practices that enhance the overall Associate experience and contribute to the company's success.
Responsibilities:
- HR Operations: Drive the day-to-day HR functions that support the life cycle of an Associate. Continuously identify areas of improvement for HR processes, policies, and procedures to improve employee engagement and company culture.
- Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business goals and promote HR strategies that align with the company's short-term and long-term objectives.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the direct contact for Associates and Leaders addressing inquiries and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures. Be a mediator and advisor in resolving Associate relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
- HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, stay updated on relevant legislation, and implement necessary changes. Maintain employee records and HR-related documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with HR leadership to create, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and company values.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Track HR metrics and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in HR processes and practices.
- Employee Feedback: Communicate with associates to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- 5 years of proven work experience as an HRBP, HR Manager, or similar role with in-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, processes and procedures, and regulations.
- Strong people skills with the ability to foster a positive work culture, boost employee engagement, and promote a sense of belonging and inclusion.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior management, to understand organizational needs utilizing strong business acumen to provide HR solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Must have utilized Workday for 5 years.
- PHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Master's degree in HR or MBA a plus.
