We are looking to hire a Leasing and Marketing Specialist with superb customer service and interpersonal skills. Marketing and Leasing Specialist must be goal-driven with strong organizational and decision-making skills.
A successful Marketing and Leasing Specialist should be professional and well informed while displaying a solution-oriented approach in order to match property needs. Top candidates will be accomplished networkers who have remarkable negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Marketing and Leasing Specialist Responsibilities:
- Marketing and Advertising – Responsible for conducting property tours to prospects and parents.
- Customer Loyalty Management– Create loyalty programs that go above and beyond resident needs and improve resident retention through service
- Prospect Management – Leverage key contacts within specific arenas to promote CMG Leasing.
- Lease Management –Assist in the lease signing process, includes preparing lease paperwork.
- Campus Networking – Develop relationships with university community and engage in various events, clubs and meetings in order to network and brand company. Present at key events, clubs, meetings, etc. within designated arenas.
- Social Media – Use social media tools to increase exposure and gain brand awareness
- Vendor Contracts – Develop relationships with local vendor and negotiate contracts
Marketing and Leasing Specialist Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a leasing consultant (essential).
- Proven skills in managing leases for high-volume properties.
- Basic understanding of federal, state, and local rental regulations and compliance.
- Knowledge of rental agreements.
- Solution-oriented thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Well-informed individual who displays sound judgment and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work towards and meet targets.
- Capable networker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with social media in the workplace
- Experienced in Google docs and Microsoft Office
- A strong desire to be innovative in the student housing industry
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong customer service skills
Normal office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Must be able to work some Saturdays and after hour social events as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Hourly/Non-Exempt
Pay: $17-$20/hr
