  • Agilix Solutions is seeking an Account Manager for our Quincy, IL location. This position is responsible for developing, growing, and maintaining customer relationships. This individual must be a self-starter, have a high sense of urgency, and be able to work with tight deadlines on planning, pricing, and follow-up. 

    This role will report to the Branch Manager.

    Responsibilities

    • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing business at an existing account package with responsibilities in the Quincy, IL area. Responsibilities will include a working knowledge of Automated process (PLC and I/O), Drives as well as Electrical Supply Products.
    • Ongoing maintenance of accounts will include monitoring and updating pricing with manufacturers to maintain required margins.
    • Account package growth will be required through additional sales at existing accounts as well as establishing new account opportunities at zero spend accounts.

     

    Qualifications

    • 4-year degree in Engineering, or Business related preferred or comparable sales experience.
    • Ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of demonstrated successful selling in the Industrial Automation or Electrical Market
    • Must be able to engage in ongoing communication and negotiation with select vendors.
    • Must possess great abstract reasoning skills, ability to work autonomously and through complex situations.  Must also be able to make quick decisions and think on their feet.
