Preston's Pharmacy located in Arlington, VA is looking for a Pharmacy Clerk.

A pharmacy clerk works the registers at Preston's Pharmacy, taking prescriptions for customers, handing completed orders to customers, recording shipments to the pharmacy, and ringing up sales for customers. We are searching for an applicant who's priority is to make sure the pharmacy stays clean and organized, and that customers are happy and served in a quick manner.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Pharmacy clerks work directly with customers in person and on the phone. Being friendly and approachable and willing to help are important to the job.
• Communication: Pharmacy clerks need to have great listening and speaking skills, as they are often the go-between for customers and pharmacists, relaying information between the two parties.
• Clerical Skills: Pharmacy clerks must restock supplies and keep accurate records of what materials are coming in and going out of the pharmacy. In addition, they use cash registers and must be quick and accurate.
• Math: Pharmacy clerks must use basic mathematics when taking inventory and ringing up customers.

Experience:

• 2 years of customer service experience
• willing to learn & grow
• ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• ability to stand throughout shift & lift 30 lbs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
