Returns Manager is responsible for the entire returns process. Communicates the returns process with vendors, customers, and employees and manages employees involved in the returns process. Being a Returns Manager may require an associate degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Returns Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Returns Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.   • Description

    Position summary: Processes all goods received at the KHSA warehouse, administers the SAP transactions of all material movement through Alternative Channels, and picks, packs, and ship items sold via Alternative Channels.

    Essential functions and responsibilities:

    • Process all transactions for inbound customer, show returns, and refused shipments which includes entering SAP information and communicating with appropriate department personnel regarding warranty and return issues
    • Perform SAP transactions, transfers returns, and coordinate with Quality Control to evaluate product
    • Repackaging product, picking B-stock, and making ready for resale
    • Make appropriate SAP inventory journal entries and/or adjustment as directed
    • Perform cycle counts when directed
    • Assist order pickers with product identification and location inquiries
    • Responsible for maintaining accurate B-stock quantities and location
    • Maintain departmental metrics and supporting Alternative Channel sales budget

    Nonessential functions:

    • Will be required to perform other duties as directed, requested or assigned

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, peripheral vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
    • Work environment: Warehouse work environment which is not temperature controlled resulting in extreme heat or cold based on outside temperatures; exposed to dust, odors, fumes, oils; the noise level is usually moderate.  

    Performance standards:

    • Annual performance appraisal
    • Attainment of annual goals established between supervisor and incumbent
    • Maintain regular job attendance; workdays are Monday—Friday; work hours are 8-hr. shifts; additional hours of work may be required to accomplish job duties



    Requirements

    Qualifications required:

    • High school diploma or state-approved high school equivalency diploma
    • Read and write English and use simple math
    • Minimum of one year successful work experience
    • Math skills
    • 2 years demonstrated successful shipping and/or administrative work experience
    • Computer proficient

    Qualifications desired:

    • Warehouse and/or receiving work experience
    • Knowledge of warehouse management software programs
    • Certified forklift operator 
    • Experience using an RF scan gun
