Prepares batches of raw materials for production processing according to specifications and established procedures. Being a Batch Maker I completes all documentation or logbooks accurately and in accordance with GMP. Cleans and sanitizes processing equipment, tanks, filters, pipes, lines, and pumps. In addition, Batch Maker I follows hazardous material handling and personal protective equipment requirements, if applicable. Perform in-process quality procedures. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Batch Maker I works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Working as a Batch Maker I typically requires 1-3 years of related experience, or may need 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.
