The Director M&A advises and evaluates deal rationale, financial projections, risk assessment, and financial implications. Develops and executes the evaluation, financial, and operational strategy for mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture projects. Being a Director M&A plans and implements a negotiation strategy and leads the negotiations with stakeholders. Oversees due diligence, financial planning, scoping, negotiations, closing, and integration. In addition, Director M&A requires a MBA or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Director M&A manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Working as a Director M&A typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
