The Director of Media Senior Manager manages a team responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the media planning function. Being a Director of Media Senior Manager uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Designs, develops, and executes media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, message, and objectives. In addition, Director of Media Senior Manager oversees campaign tactics and execution to monitor spending, manage budgets, and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for all types of media campaigns. Guides negotiations for media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Researches and recommends new media strategies, platforms, and channels to explore or utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Director of Media Senior Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Working as a Director of Media Senior Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.
