Being a Hardware Engineer - Expert/Consultant may require a bachelor's degree. Performs stress and performance tests on a variety of computer hardware including circuit boards, processors and wiring. In addition, Hardware Engineer - Expert/Consultant typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Works autonomously.
