Job Description

The Lead RF Engineer responsibilities may include RF front-end design, radio propagation modeling and prediction, microwave path analysis, interference analysis and filter design, frequency coordination, analog-to-digital converters, cell site equipment layout, and circuit design. Develops products and technologies related to wireless telecommunications by applying RF and mixed signal capabilities. Being a Lead RF Engineer requires a bachelor's degree. Develops and executes product testing and integration plans for new or updated products. In addition, Lead RF Engineer typically reports to manager. Being a Lead RF Engineer works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
