The Network Architect II analyzes a network's performance in metrics like effectiveness, efficiency, or security and identifies areas for improvement. Plans, designs, evaluates, and optimizes network systems. Being a Network Architect II communicates and collaborates with other organizational teams to understand how a network operates and fits in with organizational systems and objectives. Designs solutions to improve this performance. In addition, Network Architect II develops, updates, and maintains network documentation including diagrams, policies, and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. Being a Network Architect II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
