Job Description

The Re-order Inventory Control Analyst I analyzes historical sales, pricing, demand data, market trends, and other statistical metrics to prepare inventory requirement forecasts. Develops inventory replenishment models and forecasts to make purchasing decisions to ensure optimal inventory and stock levels meet customer demand. Being a Re-order Inventory Control Analyst I continuously monitors sales, inventory, and buying trends and adjusts stock levels to meet demand. Creates a buying plan and recommends order qualities and pricing to guide inventory replenishment and new purchasing. In addition, Re-order Inventory Control Analyst I maintains data and analytics to refine forecasts, generate reporting and improve replenishment processes. Works with vendors and buyers to facilitate ordering, pricing, and inventory deliveries. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Re-order Inventory Control Analyst I occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
