Job Description

The SPED Teacher prepares lesson plans and instructional materials designed to meet needs of individual students. Instructs special education students in a classroom setting. Being a SPED Teacher requires a bachelor's degree. Evaluates and monitors student's performance and may implement therapeutic programs for students. In addition, SPED Teacher typically reports to the principal. Being a SPED Teacher gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
