Job Description for Campus Ministries Director

Campus Ministries Director organizes and coordinates religious services for the campus and student community. Plans and develops faith-based programs and events to facilitate and encourage student engagement. Being a Campus Ministries Director develops policies and procedures to ensure adequate service delivery and that department objectives are in alignment with the university's mission. Responsible for financial decisions and planning including budget proposals and vendor coordination and management. Additionally, Campus Ministries Director requires a master's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Campus Ministries Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Campus Ministries Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
