Performs inspections, field audits, criticality assessments, and failure analyses. Being a Corrosion Engineer III prepares specifications, designs, and work plans for cathodic protection program implementations. Monitors maintenance projects for compliance and quality. Additionally, Corrosion Engineer III requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent. Requires a valid Driver's license. Typically reports to a manager. The Corrosion Engineer III work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.
