Being an Investor Relations Director implements strategies to ensure the organization's relationships with shareholders reflect positively on the company's stock price. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Investor Relations Director typically reports to top management. The Investor Relations Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
