Additionally, Network Engineering Supervisor oversees projects and collaborates with vendors and providers to provide additional resources to support networks. Supports engineers with training and knowledge sharing to keep abreast with the latest technologies and best practices. May be certified or has deep knowledge of vendor-specific products. Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Engineering Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions.
