Dispatcher
Full-Time (Mon-Fri or Tues-Sat from 12pm-8:30pm)
Pay: $18-$20/hr 
 
Reporting to the Manager, this position is responsible for the daily office/territory operations of the franchise. Through exemplary leadership, you will schedule and dispatch the routes of our 8-12+ trucks and truck teams to ensures successful delivery of exceptional service, building revenue, delivering great operating metrics.

• Experience optimizing dispatch for efficiency throughout entire operation.

• Ability to clearly communicate goals and performance manage through coaching.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule when required.
• Willingness to comply with safety requirements and other applicable franchise policies and procedures

Daily responsibilities include:

• Review Daily routes: Check for duplicate jobs, review notes for any jobs that may require special attention/tools, ensure jobs are dispersed evenly amongst routes if able, ensure distance from job to job is manageable and efficient.
• Discuss breaks and lunch plan with teams
• Review trucks and assign trucks to each route based on diversion, dump.. etc
• Ensure that staff is getting to tasks in an efficient manner
• Monitor Gantt and communicate opportunities and additional run opportunities
• Keep track of trucks and daily schedule to make any adjustments as needed
• Ensure teams have capacity and space availability
• Correspond via email, texts and phone as need with team or management
• Document any transgressions, accidents, special truck maintenance, etc. and inform management
• Always be prepared for the next day, reviewing future Gantt, Employee Schedule, and Truck availability is key to being ultimately prepared

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Dispatcher experience in a similar role
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Experience with Gantt charts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office with proven experience in data entry
• Strong attention-to-detail and multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Valid driver's license and willing to participate in background check
