  • Manage operations staff, including a team of Truck Team Members
  • Oversee training and help to develop employee professional skills in areas such as sales, marketing, customer service, profitability, and safety
  • Lead by example, with some time spent on trucks performing junk removal and customer service duties with staff
  • Host and conduct team meetings, to review metrics, celebrate wins, and discuss opportunities
  • Responsible for all phases of employment for direct reports including recruiting and training new employees; supervising and evaluating staff; providing performance evaluations; updating compensation; and executing discipline and/or terminations
  • Ensure all staff are always in appropriate uniform and following all company policies
Operations Management and Leadership
  • Supervise and assist in the daily fulfillment of scheduled jobs to ensure on-time service
  • Work closely with Franchise Partner to build and implement new systems and processes
  • Prepare and maintain employee work schedule
  • Ensure compliance with all franchise health and safety requirements
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and ensure that proper equipment is used on the job
  • Proactively manage the job schedule availability
Brand Awareness and Visibility Management
  • Develop and execute monthly brand visibility and neighborhood marketing plans
  • Provide input to the Franchise Partner on Marketing and Sales Activities
Customer Management
  • Oversee and aid in resolving customer complaints; monitor customer service and provide employees with guidance in resolving escalated complaints
  • Remedy all customer concerns
Business Planning and Leadership
  • Work with the Franchise Partner to develop key company goals for operations, marketing and profitability
  • Maintain business relationships and develop new business connections through local networking
  • Liaise with departments at Head Office
  • Attend periodic learning and or training events
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
College Degree in relevant field preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Ability to clearly communicate goals and performance manage through coaching
  • Proven ability to work with customers in a positive, courteous, and respectful manner
  • Proven leader that fosters a positive culture, keeping employees engaged
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including varying hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Proven decision-making skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical fitness required. Should be able to perform regular, heavy (up to 70 lbs.) lifting and capable of walking long distances, and perform heavier lifts with a coworker
  • Must be knowledgeable of, and comply with, the applicable franchise policies and procedures, as well as all local, state and federal laws and regulations
  • Must be extremely organized and proficient at multi-tasking
