WXIA-TV, the NBC affiliate in Atlanta, has the rare opportunity for a creative, enterprising, reporter to join the team.

Our mission is "To Hold the Powerful Accountable." The successful candidate is responsible for infusing the HPA mission into newscasts. Our real in-depth investigations are also presented in the Reveal, the only weekly investigative show on local television.  Generating enterprising ideas and content, developing contacts and relationships is mandated. ​

* Understand the tenets of professional Journalism

* Deliver accurate content and reports on all multi-media platforms

* Excellent, creative presentation and writing skills a must

* Excellent use of social media for news gathering/disseminating and community engagement

* Data research skills are essential

* Cultivate sources

* Keen eye for production​

* Shooting & Editing skills are a plus​

• Minimum 3 years investigative reporting experience​​

• Journalist and/or Mass Communication degree preferred​
