The Junior Designer is responsible for supporting the team in all aspects of visual output for the design studio at 160over90. This includes but is not limited to: graphic design projects (which span digital, social, print, and experiential/live events), retouching/photo manipulation, small to large-scale mockups for a variety of clients/brands and business pitches, and original content.
This role needs someone who is creative, highly organized, and able to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines. They need to be able to offer solutions to creative and visual problems for briefs and questions asked by other design team members as well as effectively collaborate across teams. Last but far from least, we like to have fun when we work - so the Junior Designer needs to be someone that can be positive and have a good time, even when we are tackling a big workload.
They are someone who can work across all types of programs based upon the job needed – from the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).

Qualifications/Responsibilities:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Design or equivocal experience
• Takes a profound interest in the world around you – culture, music, film, sport, art, entertainment
• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
• Plans concept by studying information and materials.
• Illustrates concept by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, type, style, and related aesthetic concepts.
• Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval to senior members of team.
• Prepares final layouts of finished copy and art.
• Completes projects by coordinating with senior team members.
• Maintains technical knowledge by staying updated on design trends, reviewing professional publications, and collaborating with senior leadership.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Experience in experiential/event design a plus.
