Content Specialists allow the team to take advantage of the varying level of abilities in specific parts of the filmmaking process the people in our field share.  A specialist can possess skills consistent with any of the following, and more: Photographer, Videographer, Editor, Motion Graphics Animator, Illustrator, Sound Designer, Colorist, etc.  

During post-production, a specialist will almost always be tasked with performing multiple services on a project.  For example, they might edit and build and implement motion graphics. If their chief speciality is editing, they will carry the title “Content Specialist: Editor”.  

Tasks and involvement in project process:

On set:

• Production, photo assistance

• Shooting / DP

• Gaffer, Grip

• Photography (Studio, Tabletop, On-location)

Post Production:

• Editing

• Animation, Motion Graphics

• Sound Editing

• Coloring

• Photo Retouching 

Applications without examples will not be considered.
