Job Title:  Junior Manager, Graphic Design & Marketing

Job Overview: 

We are looking for an entrepreneur-in-training. Someone with a knack for graphic design and a desire to help run all marketing efforts: online, social media, email, print, and tradeshow. The Builder Finance Inc. team works hard and so will the successful candidate. Demonstrated interest in Real Estate and/or Finance is a plus. Preference also given to candidates with exceptional skills in writing, custom illustration, and/or video.  

Key systems for the job include Microsoft Outlook and Word, Hubspot, Google Ad Words, Adobe XD and InDesign, and Asana. Builder Finance Inc. will pay for, or otherwise facilitate, training in these systems.

The work environment is unstructured; be able to think strategically and self-manage while also taking direction from senior personnel. Always bring an engaged mindset, good attitude, and willingness to work hard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn key systems.
• Help manage advertising spend including pay-per-click.
• Create and implement marketing campaigns for use online and in email through Hubspot as well as through print publications, tradeshows, mail campaigns, and social media.
• Write blog posts and/or compile posts from third-party content creators.
• Execute and track success of efforts.
• Support the Loan Staff and Senior Management
• Come up with ways to benefit the businesses – take ownership and help us be successful.

Qualifications:

• Experience: The successful candidate will have an existing portfolio of design work that impresses our team. No formal work experience required.
• Education:  May 2020 graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree and relevant coursework are encouraged to apply. Please include cumulative GPA, link to visual work, and at least one writing sample (humor preferred) along with resume submission.

  • Organizational skills.
  • Some marketing experience is a plus.
  • Self-motivated; able to work without close supervision
