DEPARTMENT: Partnerships

REPORTS TO: Program Director


This position is within 22squared’s new content division, Trade School. At Trade School, we believe content is a powerful tool to solve business problems through creativity, innovation and connection. The Marketing Operations Manager works directly with the Program Director on resourcing for all creative projects. This includes the ownership of status documents, workflow tools, and project estimates. The Marketing Operations Manager partners directly with account leads on all creative development timelines while working closely with creatives and producers on all projects to maximize workflow efficiencies and bandwidth. 

Trade school is breaking the mold of traditional agencies and content shops, and this person must be solution orientated, a quick learner, and must be able to partner very close with PG on all operational projects. 


  • Partner with Program Director on operational projects that continuously maximize efficiency in workflows
  • Manage and maintain all workflow tools & resources
  • Manage internal status documents: resourcing gantt chart, active projects status, and specific account statuses 
  • Collaborate with internal team to report, develop and maintain project documents, including timelines, internal processes and deliverables 
  • Manage all resources on projects and interface with internal stakeholders on a regular basis. Develop and manage project timelines and budgets where appropriate
  • Ensure teams adheres to project scope and deliverables
  • Serve as liaison between Strategy, Account Management, Creative, Production, and other inter-agency partners 
  • Drive clarity and alignment with stakeholders to make timely decisions with team members on responsibilities and priorities
  • Communicate project requirements and help collect supporting materials to ensure that projects move through the agency in a timely manner 
  • Monitor and follow-up with all appropriate departments on project development when necessary
  • Reinforce Agency process with all teams


  • 5+ years agency project management or advertising/marketing experience 
  • Keen understanding of advertising principles and creative project process terminology 
  • Familiarity with creative and design applications 
  • True problem solver—able to anticipate roadblocks and offer solutions 
  • Highly detail-oriented while managing multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills necessary to interact with a range of personalities and establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization
