We are experiencing unprecedented growth at 22squared. As such, we are building a best in class talent acquisition function to augment our existing HR team.  This Recruiter role will be responsible for all aspects of talent sourcing for the Agency and will play a lead role in ensuring the Agency hires the best possible talent for all open positions.

This position plays an active role in leading our hiring processes and managing the entire candidate lifecycle.  The Recruiter oversees position approvals, scheduling, candidate experience, travel arrangements, pre-employment assessments and onboarding. The Recruiting Manager has a direct impact on the overall success of our business.

This work is frequently delivered on an urgent basis and the ideal candidate will be highly organized, flexible, adaptable, comfortable managing competing priorities and will possess superior communication and customer service skills. 


  • Identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels.
  • Handle intake meetings and provide status updates to hiring managers.
  • Build strong relationships and insure stellar candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Advise on recruitment best practices.
  • Oversee and schedule interviews, manage day-of interview arrangements, assist with travel arrangements and pre-employment assessments for candidates, prepare offer letters, manage background and reference checks and coordinate onboarding.
  • Act as a Super-User for the Jobvite Applicant Tracking System.  This includes troubleshooting problems, developing and running reports, adding new hires to the system after their start, and managing tasks within the system.
  • Manage lifecycle of freelance employees to include paperwork, freelance offer letters, contract approval, scheduling orientations, follow-up for freelance/contract extensions.
  • Design and update job descriptions when needed.
  • Craft recruiting communications strategy to attract passive candidates.
  • Screen incoming resumes and application forms.
  • Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person).
  • Prepare and distribute assignments/candidate tests.
  • Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards and internally.
  • Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits.
  • Monitor key metrics including time to fill, time to hire, and source of hire. 
  • Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify hiring needs.
  • Act as a consultant to new hires. 

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years’ experience as a talent acquisition specialist or Recruiter.
  • Demonstrated experience managing people.
  • Ability to ensure the accuracy of highly detailed and confidential information.
  • Ability to get things done while delivering high quality results individually and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s Degree – prefer Marketing, Advertising, Psychology, Business or Human Resources.
  • Proven experience as talent acquisition manager
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding
  • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards
  • Willingness to understand/learn the duties and competencies of different roles within 22squared
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases
