Learn to master your skills and explore your potential in this 8-week program. We make it a point to ensure our interns leave with a few extra tools in their proverbial tool belts. Each week, we train our interns on something new by means of sessions and panels, in addition to a summer-long project.  

LET’S GET REAL.
You won’t be fetching coffee or making copies. We’ll treat you with respect like any other employee. This isn’t spec work. You’ll be working with real clients, producing things we actually need every day. 

GO-TO GURUS.
You’ll be paired with a mentor to learn from. They’ll help you grow and uncover your passions in this industry. A real-life work mom or dad who’ll give you high-fives and tell you you’re special.

DESCRIPTION

You have baby Yoda control of your left and right brains. You incubate creative ideas and translate them into engaging technology-based experiences. You eat responsive design for breakfast and breathe accessibility and inclusion. You ride a self-driving unicorn and can hack your robot vacuum. You are an imaginative prototyper who experiments with emerging platforms and frameworks. You have an enthusiasm for design, code, learning, and building stuff. Your portfolio or Git repo will prove it.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

ACADEMIC

Ability to work 40 hours per week (full-time)

A minimum 3.0 GPA required

Previous internship experience preferred

PROFESSIONAL

Proficiency with visual design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

Comfortable designing responsive websites and mobile applications.

Experience with front-end development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Familiarity with CMS tools like WordPress.

Interest or experience with emerging technologies like ML, AI, AR, VR, voice, physical prototyping (IoT, Arduino, 3D printing), etc.

Lots of initiative, attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Capacity to learn and apply new concepts in a dynamic environment quickly.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities; Resourceful.

Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
