Primary Job Function:

The CFS/SSO OCM Analyst

He/she will manage multiple projects at once and be able to coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 

He/she will partner with the business to ensure organizational change management is integrated into assigned projects and meets program/project objectives thus increasing adoption and usage.  This includes planning change activities and milestones, engaging stakeholders to get buy-in, and communicating and implementing changes.

Core Job Responsibilities:          

  • Leverages Abbott’s CFS/SSO change management and training methodology
  • Establishes and maintains productive relationships with all levels in Finance, CFS/SSO, business functions, and with external partners
  • OCM:
    • Develops key elements of the OCM Approach document(s), and executes on actionable, targeted plans, including communication plan, stakeholder management plan, change impacts, and training plan.
    • Manages the development/delivery of training, role mapping, measure business readiness, support pre implementation-controlled release and sustainment, and contribute to Phase 0 assessments. 
    • Identifies potential project-related people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develops specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
    • Defines and measures organization readiness, establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication, training and other change management vehicles and user understanding
    • Supports users during implementations/go lives
    • Assembles, mobilizes and manages a voice of the customer (VOC). 
    • Communicates complex role, process and technology changes clearly and succinctly
  • Knowledge Transfer: 
    • Working with SMEs, conducts end user knowledge transfer needs assessment.
    • Designs & develops reference materials to deliver knowledge transfer in an effective manner.  As required, create website content, presentations, reference materials. Meets the target dates according to the project plan.
    • Proactively meets with business partners to align and ensure the learning solution recommendations and deliverables are adequate to meet current and future business needs.
    • Supports user adoption by developing role-based solutions, and manage compliance and reporting
    • Maintains and manages the list of VOC participants, facilitates the Train the Trainer process for deployments and sustainability
  • Project Management
    • Leads department level projects or aids Program or Project managers on phases of a larger project.
    • Support and manage elements of a project/programs role management and training environment, as well as provide oversight related to other training tasks and deliverables.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, organization change management, organizational development, journalism/marketing/communications or related discipline, with experience in the discipline of information management/information systems OR equivalent level of related experience in training design, development & implementation, curriculum management, or organizational change management within a global SAP landscape.

Minimum Experience/Training Required:

  • Experience (at least 7 years) supporting change management, training and communication efforts for multiple global, complex technology implementations
  • Prior experience delivering OCM (including training) for SAP projects and navigating client-facing environments
  • Prosci or other Change Management Certification, preferred
