AC PRO Night Sheet Metal Supervisor Salary in the United States

Lead Sheet Metal Department and Specials Department on night shift. Openly communicate and work with night shift managers and supervisors to ensure production times aid in the staging and loading of vehicles. Aid in increasing day shift accuracy rates to include a year-round zero backorder expectation. Ensure warehouse is clean, neat and organized; tour ready at all times.

Duties:

• Lead by example; show professionalism in all occasions. Work with office staff as needed.
• Supervise direct staff from 2:00 pm to 12:00 am. Summertime (peak season) hours will be longer.
• Oversee night shift line-set department as needed.
• Provide and oversee training of new employees and retraining of seasoned employees as needed.
• Oversee and hold associates accountable for schedules and clocking’s, including break and meal periods.
• Perform annual associate appraisals.
• Minimize overtime by flexing seasonal labor and general staffing as needed.
• Assign and monitor fair workload among associates.
• Foster a team environment and embrace the company’s cultural mindset of customer service among associates. Develop a core bench-strength by training and focusing on associate succession.

Skill Requirements:

• Ability to meet productivity standards and complete work in timely manner.
• Ability to utilize hand trucks, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within warehouse facilities.
• Ability to follow specific verbal and written instructions.
• Possess a working knowledge of lean manufacturing preferred.
• Work overtime as required by business needs.
• Perform job tasks using specific safety tools and actions as provided in training.
• Maintain a high percentage of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Be fluent in the use of Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. Must be able to adapt to use of Eclipse and SAGE.
• Preferably bilingual (not a requirement) able to speak, read & write English and Spanish.

Licenses or Certifications Requirements and Education:

• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
