Territory Manager

Overview: Increase the company’s presence, understand and develop assigned customer territory to maximize sales volume by developing business relationships and finding new ways to meet customer needs with integrity, courtesy and humility.

Duties:

  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with major or key accounts within assigned area.
  • Manages territory in accordance with company sales objectives and quotas.
  • Presents marketing programs to customers and guides them through the ordering process.
  • Sets and meets sales targets.
  • Identifies opportunities to meet needs for current and prospective customers and offers them solutions.
  • Analyze data and assess sales performance to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Consistently monitors competition within territory.
  • Ensures customer expectations are met through proactive follow-up and prompt resolution of customer concerns.
  • Plans and facilitates activities to enhance sales volume.
  • Observes and recommends changes that could provide a better experience for customers.
  • Keeps up to date on new industry products, information, and standards.
  • Ensures standards set forth by the company are maintained at all times.

Skill Requirements:

  • Great communication skills in both written and spoken form.
  • Able to work independently with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.
  • Excellent attention to customer service.
  • Results-oriented and able to prioritize, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable with people and business relationship development.
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn new computer software programs.
  • Willing and able to drive to offsite locations using personal vehicle.

Experience Requirements:

  • 1 year of counter sales experience in the HVAC industry.
