Seeking a Community Psychiatric Support Treatment Practitioner who will assist the child/youth and family/caregivers to achieve stability and functional improvement in daily living, personal recovery, and/or resilience, family, and interpersonal relationships in school and community integrity.
Job Description:
CPST Practitioner will provide community based services to children and families who may have difficulty engaging in formal office settings but can benefit from home and community based rehabilitative services.
CPST Practitioners offer services including:
Bachelors Level:
- Rehabilitative Psychoeducation
- Strengths Based Service Planning
- Rehabilitative Supports
Masters Level:
- Rehabilitative Psychoeducation
- Strengths Based Service Planning
- Rehabilitative Supports
- Intensive Interventions
- Crisis Avoidance
- Intermediate Term Crisis Management
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years experience in children’s mental health, addiction, and/or foster care/child welfare/juvenile justice.
- Preferred a Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related human services field with 1 year of applicable experience.
- Be cleared by the State Child Abuse Registry
- Complete fingerprinting for a criminal history background clearance
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have dependable transportation
- Be able to complete Mandated Reporting self-directed on line training
- Have experience working with children (preference given to those with experience working with children with special needs)
- Must be willing to work late afternoons, evenings and some weekends.
