IT Finance Analyst (Per Diem) Remote Work Available

General Summary: The Finance Specialist, under general supervision of the Health Applications Services Director and our Finance team will assist in all aspects of the agency’s Electronic Health Record systems (MyEvolv). Experience with the MyEvolv software suite is a huge plus. 

Essential Job Duties

·         New Finance Rate Configurations

·         New Financial Contract Setups

·         Existing Financial Rate updates

·         Provide support to the Financial team

·         Understand and manage to relevant performance indicators including days in A/R, cash/net revenue

·         Assist in implementing financial system changes

·        Supports projects to optimize current financial system processes

·        Support projects to optimize current financial system processes

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attributes

·         Exposure to Billing systems

·         Financial Experience a Plus

·         MyEvolv knowledge a Plus

·         Experience in accounting

·         Basic knowledge of standard software programs (Microsoft Office, Windows, Internet, Outlook), with the ability to learn new technical computer knowledge quickly

·         Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing

·         Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and to relate well with supervisors, employees and others

·         Ability to provide software feedback where needed

Qualifications and Experience

• Associate degree, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Background experience or formal education in Finance preferred
• Experience in Electronic Health Record software – plus if having experience using Netsmart MyEvolv

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Lifting and transporting of light to moderately heavy objects, such as signature pads, scanners, computers and peripherals.
• Must be able to travel to multiple program sites and vendor locations as needed.
• On-call availability when necessary.
