Achieving True Self (ATS) is seeking a Credentialing Specialist

ATS is currently providing services in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. In this role you will directly impact the lives of the children we serve by working through the credentialing process with our employees. This crucial role will help ATS provide essential services to as many children in need as possible.You will be handling multiple applications at once and follow-up accordingly.

What Qualifications Do I Need to Join the ATS Team?

• Prior knowledge of authorizations and insurance companies
• Knowledge of Managed Care Organizations
• Knowledge of Excel preferred, but not required
• High School diploma

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Complete provider credentialing and recredentialing applications; monitor applications and follow-up as needed
• Set up and maintain provider information in online credentialing databases and system
• Responsible for reviewing all contract from payors for accuracy and completeness
• Track license and certification expirations for all providers to ensure timely renewals
• Ensure practice addresses are current with health plans, agencies and other entities
• Ensure that all files for consumers and staff are up to date
• Perform administrative tasks as given by leadership team.
