The division undertakes tailor-made commissioned assignments for a wide variety of clients, including governments, national oil and energy companies, multi-nationals, the finance sector, energy traders, upstream, mid and downstream independents, and clients in the consultancy and energy services sectors.

Argus has developed a strong US based team and we are now looking for an individual to manage delivery of projects within the region, focused primarily on serving Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals in the Americas. The candidate will also assist with winning new business and developing our presence in the market.

The selected candidate will work in conjunction the US Consulting Lead and the existing team to grow and develop our business across the Americas.  Staff that have a ‘can-do’ attitude and are prepared to play a role in all aspects of building the business will thrive. Key Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of Consulting projects, monitoring deadlines to ensure all projects are on track and where necessary flag any issues or risks to the local Consulting management team
• Schedule resources to match resource requirements with the availability of the team
• Liaise with internal Argus staff to ensure current knowledge of Argus products and services and work collaboratively across teams to draw on resources necessary to complete projects
• Support response to client enquiries, develop proposals, and win business
• Support and inspire a high performance team environment, ensuring the team establishes and maintains good working relationships with internal and external partners
• Maintain current knowledge of major drivers and trends within the energy industry

 Skills and Experience

• Strong background in research with experience across the energy industry.  Crude and refined products experience of particular interest.  Prior Consulting experience preferred
• Experience structuring and leading projects, coordinating teams and drawing upon resources across teams
• Qualified to at least degree level with evidence of commitment to continuous learning and ability to demonstrate structured problem solving and analytical skills. 
• A strong understanding of major drivers and trends within the energy industry
• Exceptional communication and relationship building skills and ability to network
• Excellent presentation skills, including experience presentation to senior executives
• Very strong IT skills, especially Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Exposure to programming languages (including relevant packages and libraries) or other data tools an advantage
