We seek professionals with strong Customer Service, Sales, and Request for Proposal (RFP) experience to join our growing team. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for supporting the Sales team by creating RFP responses, proposal creation, and maintaining the CRM system. The successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to meet the qualifications required to perform this job successfully. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work in a team responsible for sales quotations for our Australia Sales office, CRM data integrity, and coordinating Tasks for Engineering.  The ISR supports Outside Sales and is the liaison between Outside Sales/Customers and internal stakeholders
  • Work schedule will be Sunday through Thursday, noon to 9 pm MT due to time zone difference
  • Participate in weekly meetings with their Sales counterparts to manage priorities and ensure deadlines are met for customer quotations
  • Coordinate with Civil Engineering, Applications Engineering, Project Management, Order Fulfillment, Finance, Logistics, Service, and Procurement teams in-house and in the field to facilitate accurate utility scale project and spare parts quotations
  • Review RFPs and create RFP response Tasks for Sales, Engineering, and Logistics
  • Prompt response to Sales and customer emails or phone inquiries
  • Maintain CRM system data integrity
  • Review Sales proposals to ensure all client information is correct
  • Assist Marketing with initiatives
  • Make outbound follow up calls to existing and potential clients
  • Ability to occasionally travel and attend Sales events or exhibits
  • Remote work possible
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, smaller company environment
  •  Strong math and analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Must be self-motivated and have a professional disposition
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Must have a comprehensive sales RFP and proposal creation experience
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Microsoft Office Skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Adobe, and Excel
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak proficient English; second Language a plus
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check

 

Education and Experience

  • Basic familiarity with the solar or renewables industry preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Experience with SAP a plus
  • 2 or 4 year degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5 years minimum in a sales, sales support, or customer service role preferred
