The Customer Service Representative is responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of all customer orders, requests and returns supporting multiple channels and brands. Coordinate the efforts of the Sales, Production, Accounting and Shipping departments in reference to customer needs. Effectively handle all inquiries from customers, sales force and other departments.
Job Skills / RequirementsThe essential functions of this position are:
- Prepares reports, summaries, spreadsheets and related documents as directed by the Director and as requested by the departmental sales staff
- Handles customer contacts in the absence of the assigned sales representative; when necessary, will handle customer inquiries to the best of ability, including research of applicable sales documents and/or asking for assistance form other source - within or outside the department
- Maintains accurate, up-to-date records and files and provides quick retrieval when information is requested
- Develops proficiency in use of Acumatica software program
- Strives to continuously expand knowledge of the Company's line of products
- Provides assistance in preparing for trade shows when requested
This position requires effective communication skill - written and verbal; proficiency in MS Word and Excel, etc.; strong organization skills and attention to details, excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, 0-2 years of customer assistance experience and ability to handle customers with courtesy and professionalism.
