Job Skills / Requirements This position reports to the Purchasing Lead and is responsible for providing high quality administrative services for the Purchasing function:
- Prepares and maintains order data in a variety of formats; prepare routine and / or special reports or related documents as needed; provides timely retrieval of requested information.
- Processes sales orders by verifying inventory and notifying key personnel of shortages; assists sales representatives with accuracy of sales orders.
- Strives to expand Company product knowledge on a continuing basis.
- Works with freight company(s) to obtain quotes for incoming shipments from vendors.
- Communicates with and assists broker when required to obtain release of shipments from customs.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Education Requirements (Any) High School Diploma or Equivalent required Additional Information / Benefits Pay Range for this position is $10 -$13 per hour.
