SHIFT:  D (6:20pm to 6:30am)

JOB SUMMARY

Manual and/or automated put up of all blister, form/fill/seal, hospital pack and Allergist tray products. Associate will have a general knowledge of all packaging equipment which will enable safe operation of equipment through breaks, clearing jams, stopping and restarting machine as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

• Follow all company safety rules, regulations and job safety analysis. Must know lockout procedures as described in the corporate safety standard 13, plant lockout procedure and key interrupt.
• Fill and operate shelf carton erector and clear minor jams.
• Responsible for quality of product including but not limited to:

                ~ discarding obviously defective packages, removing and saving contents;

                ~ checking packaging for correct count;

                ~ checking for damage to syringes;

                ~ checking for correct lot control numbers;

                ~ inserting brochures as required;

                ~ palletizing finished product and attaching proper pallet card;

                ~ operating semi-auto tape machine;

                ~ performing minor duties not requiring set up attention.

• Good hand-eye coordination and repetitive hand, wrist and arm movements.
• Keep work area clean. Final clean up at end of shift.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient at reading, writing & speaking English.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer keyboard & navigational skills.
• Must take personal responsibility in all aspects of the job, hold team members to safety standards/regulations/GMP and policies.
• High School diploma / GED (minimum requirement)
