Role Overview

The Manager, Intercultural and Language Services is responsible for managing external suppliers for Intercultural and Language services and supporting the usage, satisfaction and growth of these services for clients. This position focuses on these product lines globally. This position will coordinate with SCM colleagues, Client Services teams and the Intercultural/Language team.

What You'll Be Doing
 

  • Language Supplier Management – manage supplier performance to meet PS score targets, conduct monthly satisfaction reporting and annual performance reviews, address service issues, manage any necessary action plans, coordinate internal training on products and enhancements, handle billing issues, price sheets, and cost analysis, support supplier RFPs and selection, manage contact lists, and systems updates, gather information on Language services for intranet site, marketing materials, and support translation products.
  • Intercultural Trainer Network Management – Manage IC Trainer Selection, IC Trainer Onboarding and Contracting with Admin, oversee IC Trainer Performance Management - issues resolution support and annual trainer scorecards, set-up Trainer systems and credentials, address access issues in Novus, GeP, and Sharepoint, and support Trainer Development needs
  • Improve Service – manage language service alerts process and alert log, track alerts, insure resolutions of issues are identified and implemented, analyze trends and recommend strategies to improve service
  • Support IPS and Client Service teams– serve as language product subject matter expert to answer product questions, recommend solutions and alternate product options, manage process improvements, support IPS team as appropriate
  • Support Services Growth – support team strategy for overall growth of penetration and usage for Language services,  increased language referral fees, and increased utilization of managed supplier network; support IC operations Manager and team in incremental growth for Language and translation services
  • Reporting – manage language supplier reporting for client, supplier and internal needs, insure systems data is kept up-to-date, insure referral fees are collected and reported, assist with internal reports as needed



What You Bring to BGRS

  • BS, BA in related field - Required
  • 7+years experience in supply chain management, Intercultural/language, and/or customer service industry, and preferably in relocation- Required
  • Experience with complex client needs; strong ability to lead and influence clients; present solutions
  • Preferred experience with global mobility issues, services and environment
  • Preferred experience with supply chain management
  • Experience working with reporting, financial reports, and/or financial analysis
  • MS Office suite:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint
