Position Summary
Brown Advisory is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Credit Research Analyst with coverage responsibility for the global financials sector. The candidate will support the research process with the performance of fundamental research across regions, countries, and companies within global markets. This position would aid the team in investment ideation, securities analysis, surveilling existing positions, macro investment debate, portfolio-level analysis, and managing projects related to messaging materials and content production. This role will require credit expertise within financial services business models, including knowledge of geopolitics, macroeconomics, sovereigns, industry trends, company fundamentals, capital structures, and fixed income instruments such as bonds, hybrids, and derivatives. The candidate must understand regulatory capital regimes and corresponding capital structures (e.g.: senior, CET1, AT1, Tier 2, etc.).
