Description

The Employee Development Coordinator is responsible for developing and facilitating training and coaching, promoting extraordinary employee experience for California Olive Ranch through the creation and execution of initiatives that reinforce the company’s values and culture of high performance. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering a culture of learning within a company. Must have a deep understanding of professional learning and the ability to design meaningful and effective learning experiences.

  • Identifies training and development needs for business units and individual coaching needs. Design, develop and facilitates training programs, both virtually and live to ensure successful participation. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met. Align training solutions to the values and goals of the company.
  • Develop, implement and maintain Succession Planning Program in partnership with department management.
  • Conduct needs analyses and utilize performance management date to identify employee learning and development needs; recommend and/or design learning solutions.
  • Create and implement frameworks for assessing, measuring and tracking learning and development programming and demonstrating return to the company; provide senior leadership with ongoing reporting and analysis of developmental activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and teams to develop and implement training context for new hire training and onboarding and ongoing professional development; serve as a coach and mentor on delivering effective trainings.
  • Ensure access and equitable processes related to training opportunities.
  • Serve as an advisor, trainer, coach and expert to all staff members in the areas of employee learning and development.
  • Manage multiple training programs end to end across the business balancing different timelines, priorities and deliverables.
  • Be the front of the room facilitator in virtual and live employee trainings and the back of the room support for other facilitators, as well as co-facilitate.
  • Create, send and analyze employee training data, identifying trends and making recommendations for modifications.
  • Design and implement leadership programs, including such components as action learning, short-term assignments, and/or rotations.
  • Manage prioritization and roadmap of training collateral and curriculum for employees. Maintain all training materials to ensure they remain up to date and innovative.
  • Partner with various department to ensure the marketing and communication strategy for training offerings is executed.
  • Help establish training team goals to monitor and report on progress against benchmarks and metrics
  • Assist with creation and ongoing updates of the training budget
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and trainers through regular observations and checks.
  • Develop, design and deliver training programs for company-wide programs.
  • Coordinate employee training programs with Butte Community College and ETP; coordinating all ETP training activities with managers to ensure training is being accomplished and documented as indicated in our contract.
  • Track progress, measure success, report out on learnings and results with ETP.

Qualifications


  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in employee coaching and implementing training programs.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including training design and facilitation, organizational development, employee relations, diversity, and performance management.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • High level of motivation and commitment to getting the job done.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills
  • Consistent ability to positively contribute in a high-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work varying hours, some weekends, and varying schedules, when applicable.
  • Valid California Driver's License
