Canyon Ranch is looking for a Dining Room Assistant Manager (temporary) - Full Time at our Lenox, MA location.

The Dining Room Assistant Manager (Temporary) is primarily responsible for exhibiting, promoting, maintaining, observing and communicating guest service standards and practices for the dining areas in all food and beverage outlets.  You will also assist in the trainings for host/hostess, servers and bussers for all outlets.

• Supervise day to day operation of the food and beverage outlets
• Interact with guests on regular basis to ensure satisfaction levels are maintained for every facet of the dining experience
• Execute all supervisory administrative duties such as, but not limited to, scheduling staff, payroll approval, coaching and counseling, performance reviews and incident reporting. Involved in all employment aspects of assigned staff to include interviewing and hiring, orienting and training, scheduling and coordinating work assignments, evaluating performance, coaching and disciplining staff
• Resolve staff concerns and issues and ensure any concerns and pertinent issues are communicated to senior leadership

Experience: 3 - 5 years work experience in related field is required (2 years of management in related field is preferred)

1 - 2 years hospitality experience (hotel, resort or destination spa) is preferred
Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Certifications: Serve Safe Manager Certification is required
