Our Dining Room Supervisors assist the Dining Room management team in overseeing the food and beverage service to guests in all dining outlet areas including but not limited to Dining Room, Café Tasse, Café Jardin and the Demonstration Kitchen. You will actively supervise all servers, bussers and host persons to ensure Canyon Ranch standards of guest service are upheld. You will monitor daily schedules and make future schedule recommendations. You will also lead pre and post meal staff discussions to communicate guest and Canyon Ranch needs, and oversee banquet functions including alcohol service when permitted. This role will also have you handling clerical duties to include but not limited to inventory, menu and sign printing, payroll maintenance and staff member review process. You will need to assist in staff management through use of internal communication and documentation, and when needed you will assist in dining room or outlet service.
Your supervisory responsibilities will include overseeing daily execution of duties for all dining room personnel. Also, you will participate in the monthly china and linen inventory process, maintain staff reporting, and perform schedule building with the Dining Room Assistant Managers.
Having an A.O.S. degree or experience deemed equitable is preferred.
Also, you should have ServSafe Certification and be TIPS Certified
You will need a minimum 5 years table service, and prior supervisory experience is preferred-particularly in a fine or upscale dining facility or resort environment. You will also need to be proficient in all Microsoft office suite applications.
