Cardinal Building Materials has a current need for a Branch Manager.  Cardinal is a building materials wholesaler - our customers are remodelers, contractors, new home construction, light commercial and other construction related trades. Our product line includes siding, windows, roofing, entry doors, decking and railing (both vinyl and composite), and other products.

We are looking for a Branch Manager who can oversee the branch operations from all avenues.  This includes direct responsibility over inventory, employees, customer relations, building maintenance, sales and more.. Our ideal candidate will have a diverse background including customer service, management of employees, inventory background, some accounting knowledge, sales experience and excellent organization.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Assisting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day management of the warehouse and personnel; creating opportunities to sell slow-moving inventory.
• Personnel - coaching and mentoring the warehouse staff and inside sales staff; writing and administrating evaluations, budgeting and coordinating payroll and hours worked according to sales/business.
• Operations - overseeing day-to-day paperwork (billing, deposits, cycle counts, petty cash account, etc...); monitoring work comp risk/safety enhancements; budgetary responsibly for branch (utilities, temp labor, vehicle maintenance, etc...)
• Sales - working with inside sales staff and outside sales to maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.  Prospect leads, cold call and generate sales opportunities for new clients
